The rain storm had subsided by this point... but I was still dealing with my own personal "storm"....
What Do I Do?
One of the reasons that I started this blog, is to meet and connect with like-minded people. I want to share my ideas, hear and learn about your ideas, and maybe find awesome ways to collaborate!
Here's a little about myself, and my background as the author of this blog. If you're reading you might find we have some things in common and I'd love to hear about it!
About Me:
I'm a 27 year old entrepreneur. I live in Central Oahu and was born and raised in Hawaii. I have four dogs, two cats and like spending time with my friends and my family.
I live (what I feel is) a pretty typical life in many ways.
Hobbies:
I grew up skateboarding and it was my first passion. It gave me something to do, and something I could see progress it. It was so fun to learn a new trick, and hang out with my friends.
I don't skate as often, but try to find the time when I can. It's always nice to see old friends, and to anchor you back to the things that make you feel young again.

Some other hobbies that I enjoy typically involve staying active.
I like working out and hiking, and think it allows me to reset and pause from time to time.
Can anyone guess where this is at?
Something about morning sunrises... they're awesome.
My "Work" Background
I've always been interested in business and entrepreneurship. To me, it's like a video game. You are learning skills, and training your character to level up and take on the next quest (I was a Runescape nerd)... in real life!
When I was growing up, my parents had an antique store that my mom ran as a hobby. It was the early 2000's when I learned about the power of the internet and got exposure to business.
I learned that you could sell things on this thing called eBay, and used to post things up to sell from our antique inventory.
Over time, I became better and better at it, and it was probably the first exposure to business that I can remember.
It taught me about profit and loss, customer service, and technology.
Hanging out after school at this little shop taught me a lot growing up.
In 2011, my junior year of high-school, I started helping out at my family's construction company part time. It was the first job I had, and I thought it would be a transient thing. Just helping my family out to move to the new location.

The following year, I started working part time three days a week. I worked in the shop and office just helping out. I learned how to file things, how to do basic administrative tasks, and how to do this cool thing called "job costing", where you basically analyze the profitability of a project.
Fast forward to the end of my senior year of high-school, and I was left with a choice.. Continue what I'm doing, and continue to learn, or find something that I want to pursue. I was having fun learning new things, and I decided to stay with the company.
Since then, I've learned the various positions that make up the business; from roof application, to estimation, accounting and everything in between!
I got my contractor's license with the State of Hawaii, and assumed the position as President of the company around 2018. Our team has since tripled in revenue (and team members), and won various awards from local magazines, news stations and associations.
I thank it all to the great people that make up our organization and surround it.
Besides the construction business, I have an affinity for real estate, stocks and cryptocurrencies.
I've been doing real estate deals here in Hawaii since 2014, and have been through a handful up until the time of writing this. I recently completed my latest deal in January of 2022, and the first of its kind for me.
I got started by reading a ton of books about the topic, reading blogs, and watching Youtube videos about the topic. I'd consider myself more of a hobbyist investor, since its not my full-time occupation like some.. but I enjoy real estate, and feel it can truly change the trajectory of your life.
I also enjoy reading and investing in the stock market, and what seems to be the latest and greatest technology.... Web3 and Cryptocurrency. I enjoy stocks because of the business component of it, and Crypto... because I think the technology will change the world!
That's just a little bit about me, and I'd love to hear about you!
Thanks for visiting my blog!
